There are airboat rides, and then there are experiences—and Kristy Olson’s visit to Tom & Jerry’s Airboat Rides is the perfect reminder of why we do what we do.
After checking in with our always-awesome front desk crew (shoutout to the staff who make sure every guest knows where to go and what to expect), Kristy and her family spent time enjoying the yard games in our shaded pavilions. Giant checkers? ✅ Family fun? ✅ Smiles all around? ✅
When it was time to board, the Olson family was lucky enough to ride with the ever-popular Captain Joe, who made the day especially magical for their 7 and 2-year-old by letting them sit in his captain’s seat. “Super funny and personable,” Kristy wrote, adding that Captain Joe kept the whole crew entertained with stories, sights, and lots of laughs.
And of course, the adventure didn’t end on the water.
Back at base, Kristy’s daughter got to hold our beloved baby gator! Even though she was nervous at first, our team was patient, kind, and gentle—making it a moment she’ll never forget.
“Wonderful staff who check you in and tell you where you need to go. They have games to play while waiting for our Captain. We had Captain Joe and he was so great. He told us stories and so kid friendly, he let my 7 and 2 year old sit in his seat. Super funny and personable.
